Matt Scult, PhDFounder and Principal Consultant
Dr. Matt Scult is the founder and principal consultant at MindFlex Health, where he leverages over a decade of clinical and research expertise to provide clinical strategy consulting for digital mental health companies. A licensed clinical psychologist and neuroscientist, Dr. Scult works with companies to develop evidence-based clinical products and content that enhance user engagement and outcomes. His recent work includes projects with Big Health, Stressbuoy, and Akili Interactive.
Dr. Scult received his undergraduate training in neuroscience at Brown University and earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Duke University. He then joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine where he conducted digital mental health research and supervised clinical trainees. He has held pivotal industry roles such as overseeing clinical strategy at Modern Health and as a member of the leadership team at Therapists in Tech. Dr. Scult's impact is reflected in his numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributions to prominent media outlets such as The New York Times and Scientific American. |
Katie Galbraith, PhD
Consultant
Dr. Katie Galbraith is a consultant at MindFlex Health. She has nearly a decade of clinical experience and research expertise in evidence-based, culturally competent mental health care for youth, families, and adults. She leverages this skillset to consult digital mental health companies on incorporating effective and engaging clinical content to maximize clinical and product outcomes.
Katie received her bachelor’s degree with distinction in psychology at Yale University and was a clinical psychology resident at Weill Cornell Medicine. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Science with a minor in Quantitative Methods. She is an incoming T32 postdoctoral fellow in the Child Psychiatry Translational Research program at Columbia University. Katie’s research and clinical expertise in youth, family, and adult mental health care has been featured in multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications, and she has presented her work at national and international conferences. |
Meenakshi Kothari, MA
Associate
Meenakshi Kothari, M.A. is an associate at MindFlex Health. Her passion lies in making mental health services more accessible with the help of technology to bridge the treatment gap. She is excited about being involved in translating evidence-based practices into real world solutions for digital mental health companies. Her strengths of marketing and psychology offers a blend of knowledge that focuses on being consumer and science driven.
Meenakshi Kothari graduated with a summa cum laude during her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Marketing at Singapore Management University. She completed her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University with a concentration in Global Mental Health and Technology in Psychology. During her masters, she worked as a psychology assistant at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration team for her clinical fieldwork. She is currently a research assistant at the Suicide Prevention Research Lab at Columbia, using AI models to aid in suicide prevention training. |
